I have sunbathed in England as early as February once about 15 years ago and as late as October once about 10 years ago.
Wednesday Sept 25th 2013, the beaches here still busy. 31 degrees centigrade at high noon.
Also , on the old translation front ruidoso means noisy. Estra en silencio means be quiet.
Phrases and words often used by the Northern Europeans, but NOT the Spanish. In fact when they talk to each other, it is quite easy to mistake that you think you left the tap running and the water is gurgling down the plug hole.
Shame a dutch coffee shop near here is closing down, through lack of trade. She made a good job of the place looking clean and pleasant, spent thousands, now giving up. The place is barren and forlorn. Sad.
