The Foreign Legion

10am, 35 degrees Centigrade,  there is more water from my forehead doing the washing up than coming out of the tap.

This sun worshiper is now hiding on the decking in  the shade, waiting for the relief column that never comes.

In England you dismay at the lack of Sun. In Spain, July and August,  you can only use the hose to water the plants and water yourself, yes  turn the garden hose on myself to cool down for a while.

It's the heat, you know, Carruthers, turned mild for this time of year.

Nice weather for butterflies................................................
