Morning Dew

Woke up to Morning dew, the only moisture we have had for weeks. Now that all my jobs are done, it's time to find some shade, more than 27 centigrade here, feel sorry for those people that have to work. When I was unloading, unpacking, painting, diy, gardening, I was cream crackered. tired, thirsty, irritable. Now the days just change, bit like being a dog laying around all day, following the shade of the lemon tree and the palm tree in the garden.

See the new faces holiday makers in the streets now and the coaches, more rent a cars too, certainly came to the right place, need a swimming pool or the sea to constantly cool down, it's called acclimatisation.

Shop once a week in the hypermarket Carrefour Planet, where the sales assistants roll around on roller blades. They sell everything except tobacco products (only tobacconist shops can sell cigarettes) and birthday cards. Everything else under one roof, plants, fountains, garden furniture, bedroom furniture, food drink, washing machines, TVs, books, newspapers, bikes, toys and oh yer car tyres !!! This week's special offer by 3 get one free.

Mercadons is local supermarket near Chinese restaurant. Nice food here in Spain, emphasis on fish and shell fish. Bars a plenty but no nice pubs, nice restaurant in La Mata overlooking sea (La Mare Bien), Tapas and beer and wine all cheapy cheap.

Just said Ola to a Russian girl neighbour, funny English to Russian speaking Spanish, must be the heat that does it............................
